A note on breakfast: the pub doesn't currently serve breakfast, so we don't include one. Tea, coffee and milk are stocked on arrival; a breakfast hamper is available as a paid add-on; and we'll point you at our favourite local spots if you'd rather walk out for it.
The Ainsty is finished and taking bookings from 1 August. Two smaller studios — The Smiddy and The Croft — are purpose-built new builds going up in the pub grounds, opening late September. Our converted barn, The Rudgate, follows in autumn.

When can I actually book a stay?
The Ainsty opens to guests on 1 August 2026. We're taking enquiries now, and confirmed bookings open once final fit-out is complete.
Is breakfast included?
Honestly, no. The pub doesn't currently serve breakfast, so we don't want to imply one is included. You'll find tea, coffee and milk in the kitchen on arrival, and a paid breakfast hamper is available as a pre-arrival add-on.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes — well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. There's an additional cleaning fee of £25 per stay.
How does check-in work?
The Ainsty has its own external entrance with a smart lock. Your unique access code arrives by email the day before you check in.
Is there parking?
Yes, free on-site parking in the pub car park, available throughout your stay.
Is the apartment accessible?
Not fully — the apartment is reached via a small flight of stairs and isn't suitable for guests with significant mobility needs. Please call us on 01937 842 192 before booking.
When will the other three apartments be ready?
